If i hv to change the bpm of some track in cubase then i hv to reajust all the loops cause they dont change the bpm together with the track. Is there any way to change the bpm of all the track together, without hving to ajust stuff later?
thanks!

no, you have to stretch the audio.

for not so time-crital stuff you can do it the easyway in cubase. suppose your loops are complete bars, just drag them to the next complete bar while using Sizing applies timestretch (option under the pointer in the toolrack)

for percussive its better to use something like recycle, or ableton-live in rewire if you have it.

first try the easyway if it does not sound good go outside cubase for timestreching.

yes, there is a way, but you have to have done it for all loops once at some time.

1) go to the sample editor and view your loop
2) activate "musical mode"

if you have done this for all audio material that has to fit time tightly, you can now easily change the track's tempo. if you haven't, remember to do it next time

cheers           $ exp(j*pi) + 1 = 0. $

hmm
i thought u can divide audio parts and it will re-arrange them with the bpm change ?
pritty sure i saw it happenz

with FL studio simply click "yes" when it asks if u want to re-strech... might not work the best if u use pitch rather then time-strech/slicer for audio samples and loops.           www.sattelbattle.com

yeah in fruit loops i remember u just choose yes when u r asked if all channels are to be stretched. Stoped using fruit by version 5, now just some fast audio manipulating stuf.. like the way u can pitch shift stuff just with that knob at channel settings.. Off couse cubase bit fruit (dont know about new versions) but tehre are some features (most of them very simple) very tricky that cubase misses, like this pitch knob (up to 48semitones), the computer keyboard able to play stuff justt lighting up one box, this stretcch channel setting when change bpm and more..
Anyway thnks for the tips guys..
Hey vipal the cubase timestrech funcion is alwesome, u just hv to choose the right algorithm.. in thhe manual there are specifications!
