Hi! I want to make mix of my tracks in Cubase 5.

Want to speed up the song by a few bpm's. I've tried to go into pool and mark all tracks to "musical", set up a Tempo track, and play around with the tempo.

Result: I can get the song to change tempo but the sound quality is poor. Whether I bump the BPM up 1 beat or 50, it still plays choppy and low quality.

My question is how to change bpm of the song (audio file) and not to lose on quality? Thanx!

Hey,

i would suggest to work with ableton for that matter, Cubase is not a DJ Tool.

Otherwise you can try this one.

You can easily change tempo in a tune or as a mix. Go to:

Project/Tempo Track (Ctrl + T) and there you'll be able to adjust the tempo anywhere you like in your tune.

Of course this wont work on audio files - only Midi tracks.

So if you want to make a mix of your audio files yes use Ableton Live or Mix Meister etc.
