use Acid pro 3.0 for the time streatch and BPM change. the SF time streatch also changes the pitch last time i checked, so it's not very useful           "We Do Not Allways See Things As They Are. We See Things As We Are" -Ancient Chinese Proverb

i'm with ya on this one.
Acid 3 is the best for time streatch.
in SF the sample changes much more then in the ACID.

i recomend Acid 3 pro

first of all you can change the tempo with
sound forge but its a long story.
the best way to change the bpm is to recycle.
if you have loop with 'easy peaks' only recycle.
if you have tough loop with no peaks use acid.

You may also use the time stretch function in Wavelab... Changes bpm with or without changing the pitch...

I prefer to use both Wavelab and Sound Forge, since they both have advantages over eachother (ie: SF displays the sounds (waves) more correctly)
As for time stretching (again) I use Wavelab for all kinds of sounds, FXs, beats, whatever... No need for Recycle from my point of view...
