I don't think that it's possible, but what you can do change the bassline itself.
Make it slower, instead of a note coming on every 1/16, make it come on every 1/8.
But why would you want that anyway? It will sound really bad and not syncronized.

but in many tracks sometime bassline play slower, sometime faster...
and it's more easier for me write somthing in tempo 80, and than try to experiment with tempo...
or maybe not?

I recommend starting a new project with only the instrument you want to slow down, do your stuff and then render it as a wave. Then import the wave into your original project as a wave.

Hope this helps

Rez is corret, and you can do it by taking this part, export the part as a wave and open it on acid 3 or other program that has time strech.

Again, this effect is not done by changing tempo. It's done by changing the bassline itself...

I dont think that changin the bass tempo will do good for your track. the bass & the drums should fit together. in different tempo it will never happend. You have to work on the feel of the bass and drums to "increase" speed. on fast parts use short basses on the 16notes,take out pads and etc they r slowin the feel. try that on every 16 note will be a drum (snares , congas, shake) but try to avoid puttin them together and dont use too many.           check out! www.soundclick.com/spasm
