I just ate a virgin's heart after sacrificing her to the blind god Samael. I wear corpsepaint all the time. I wear nylons on my arms. Im so evil you don't even know. I'll tear out your adrenal gland and give it to my attorney. I sell pineals wholesale on eBay no questions asked. Im gonna go be depressed in my Evil Room, where I listen to dark psytrance and think about eating people. Cuz in all my seekings of musical evil, dark psytrance is the most evil and dark and depressing and bloody, its perfect to sing sacrificial hymns over. Then I plunge in the bone-handled dagger with the $800 blade into the heart of the sacrifice.

symbolism? this is a perfect example of why people shouldn't respectlessly play around with symbols they cannot relate to in any way and thus don't have a slight idea of its meanings.

Symbols don't mean anything until we give them meaning. If Dark means Evil to you then that's your problem!
Why is death so taboo? We all die. Without death there is no life. What's wrong with an essential part of nature? What's wrong with looking death in the face?

I see no real references to death, I own a ton of "dark" releases, and very few have any kind of death aspects.
Its not grindcore, its not death metal.
Ever laughed at a horror movie? If no, you should try it sometime!
Watch Peter Jackson's first movie, Bad Taste. Is that adulation and perversion? Its all about mangling and death, including all manner of mutilation.
IMO there are very few "dark" trance producers, and even fewer of those who are actually trying to prtray the atmosphere of death and evil.

the releases with death references are what i wrote about.
i love dark music mate, believe me, not a particular style, but emotionally challenging darkish music. so i'm all in for a conceptual psytrance album on which the artist is dealing with a loss of a dear one.
but what about those horror things? i just dont understand it...it just looks cheap somewhat...kinda lack of soul or spirit or whatever. i still believe in this bigtime you know 
i havent seen Bad Taste, but i know about it, not sure if i'd laugh, but i thought Hostel and similar were pretty witty. and this is movies...not music, different non-comparable things for me.
