This arrived today and I gave it a background listen. Fantastic album. I may get blacklisted for saying this but, I like it much better than Phonic Peace. It just has that right vibe to it. *hangs head in shame*

I am sure you aren't alone thinking that. It's an amazing album in a different style than his first. Truly shows what an great artist Cell is. Big respect.

^You are not. I even sold Phonic Peace some years ago because I was very tired of the ethnic sounds at that time.

Been listening to Hanging Masses for about 6-7 times until now and I'm fascinated about the beautiful journey it tells.
Especially that extraordinary sound in the title track and the beauty of Universal Sunrise did it to me. That doesn't mean that the other tracks aren't outstanding as well.

I wonder if maybe someone can understand the words on track 1 ?

I can understand only a few..because of the effects.

I'm sorry Gad, but...who cares about that?

It's just a simple conversation between two guys who explain a situation...Nothing else!

Anyway, it's a real pleasure to read all the nice messages about "Hanging Masses"!
Thanks again!

Sadly no free license (I don't really get why) but here is the latest Kahvi release:

Quote:
5 track ep (playing time 47 minutes!) from Cell - a sampler of some of his most well known tracks from the Fahrenheit Project albums and an exclusive track from his new album 'Hanging Masses'.

http://www.kahvi.org/releases.php?release_number=282

Quote:
PLEASE NOTE: You must not use any of the tracks in this release for any purposes (other than streaming) without contacting Kahvi and asking permission first. Due to these being previous commercial releases on Ultimae, extra clearance needs to be granted.

So you must not even download the zip files, mhkay!           http://enjoys.it

Well, I do.

As much as I love this album, sometimes I don't see the point of puting these kind of samples in the music.

If the samples are somehow related to the music it can be nice and I can also see if it's just for the sake of adding a bit more atmosphere or something.

Sometimes these things fit nicely in the music and sometimes they don't, in this case they fit quite nicely and since you decided to put these words in your music, it will be nice for me to know what these two guys are talking about.

Anyway, just finished to listen to "Hanging Masses" again about an hour ago and I must say again that this is a beautiful journey into futuristic, pure ambient downtempo electronica.

It's extremely well crafted.

Love it !

Cheers !

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful album!

Silicon smooth. Expertly produced and mastered. Effortlessly easy to enjoy and listen to. I just press play and I'm amazed how quickly time passes until its over.

The title track reminds me a bit of Solar Fields "Air Song" - it's very strong, distinct.... It's a very dramatic "Ultimae" sound. The rest of the tracks are more sublime. No bad samples / noises / moments to be found anywhere on the album.

the short sound samples provided by the label did not summarize it or do it justice... you must hear the whole thing in hi-fi.. one of the best ambient albums in YEARS, not just 2009.

A very nice album indeed.
I am very impressed. I love Phonic Peace but this is a different atmosphere completely and even better in my opinion.
Great stuff!           Wait.....What?
