Was hoping some people would be willing to offer some tips, tricks and helpful techniques or insights into the beloved CDJ200. |

well, its a cd player, work like any other cdj.
press play, press pause, find a cuepoint, press cue and go for it... =)

can someone explain the whole idea about the different bpm steps on these? i just dont get it...

I just got my 200`s today and they are great. Couldn`t afford 1000`s, but these are great enough. Funny, Dennis, they play mp3 too....hehe
No actually looking for tips and tricks that the manual doesnt tell you. And explanations to questions like the above from parapsyched.
I think it simply means that when you select +6, the sliders increments are only at 0.02% at each click, and at 0.05% increments at +10 or +16.
Selecting +6 will allow for smaller adjustments.
Hope this helps. Thats my understanding of the manual. |

ok. in the cdj100 in +-0.7 in 140-146 bpm was one bpm. right?
so how does it work with the cdj200?

it can be nice to work with the loopfunction on the 200's. try to practice with it and the fx for added funkiness..

the 0.7 rule indeed applies to 140 and upwards (to certain extend). It works exactly the same as with other players. You can choose the range you can pitch, but that doesnt change the 0.7 rule. |
