Denon gear is not as reliable as pioneer, thats why in its on must clubs and is used in almost all festivals.

For that price you could buy two laptops! It seems like overkill and I never expect to see these bad boys at a gig.

| I think the clubs and massives will certainly pick them up but I will be surprised if I ever see them at a psy gig given that some people still use the ancient CDJ-100 that don't even have the loop feature.
The main advantage this has over laptop is durability and reliability. Laptops crash and break much more easily!

we used them at our last event. not sure if i prefer them to the 1000 - maybe need to get used. |

cdj 2000 in nature.....

If you asked me 5 years ago if I would ever dream to see a 1000 MK2 on Outdoor parties, I'd answer you:
What the hell is 1000 MK2?
Btw, they exist. |

I wish people would at least make the CDJ-800MK2 the minimum for parties...
I use vinyl mode, wide pitch and master tempo a lot, and I would like to use loop more. The CDJ-100 doesn't even have loop! |

I agree, but maybe you should learn to play other ways if cdj-100s are the norm at parties you play at.

I never said I didn't know how to play with the CDJ-100
It's just boring there's so little you can do besides just regular DJing |
