I used search but no results came up so here my problem: i just got a cdj-100s that looks almost new, no scratches or anything..seems like used only a few times..
the problem is when I insert a cd, it gives me an error which only appears when the cd is scratched or dirty..but that ain't the case cause i tried several original and new cds..
Sometimes it also happens that I insert the cd and it is ejected right away..
Has this happened to anyone before?
Could it be as simple as the lens being dirty?

hmm just found out one more thing..it plays perfectly old cds like a Bob Marley i got (completely scratched)..new cds like the Yotopia it shows the error..

did you got it second hand ? this error is very rare in my pair of 100s, it only happens when I try to insert some dirty old cd-r, but even with this kind of media its still rare to occur
dunno what can be
maybe you must change the lens...

yes i got it second hand..perhaps its the lens...i'll try to clean it and see if it solves the problem..hope it does..
