is it possbile that many cd's put one on another compromise their quality because of mutual action of (electro-(?))magnetic fields or whatever ?? |

CDs are an optic media - Unlike harddrives or 1.44" diskettes which are based on the magnetic principle.

well...
thers an opto magnetical surface sticked between which ever special plastic the cds made from, then a laser beem heats the sufrface by going from 1.5 watts to 4.5
heating the surface and changing the corresivity (ability of magnetizm to change polarity), then washed by a magnetic head changing its polarity and by that writing the bits on.
thats as far as i know... |

i think u have to be more careful of the sun lite , than the magnetic fields !!! ( maybe making a back up of your cd´s info will help you , if u loose quality , make another copy )

Don't put cds on/in the near your speakers coz they can get erased. But with a strong magnet u can 'rewrite' the data to the disk

I's not optical, there's no such a thing.
It's Physical. When you burn a CD you physically change the CD.

Bollocks. It's not physical, it's spiritual... everybody knows that physical objects are merely the manifestations of aspects of the universal 'one' and that any division between the mind of the observer and the CD being observed is purely an illusion. When you burn a CD (with a device that manifests itself in consensual reality as an 'optical laser') it's the universe writing data about itself onto itself.
I don't know, kids these days... no idea of what's what...

I think you mean coercivity. But you are right. This is how CD rewritables work.
