Why do you delete my posts about cds when its not a review, but others dont get deleted?
and the reason for the delete is :"its not a review"...
WTF?

For sure its a reason, but not everyone in the reviews section do write review in each and every post of him. some write the review, some give comments or something like that.
I dont care if you erase all of my posts, but just dont erase X's "not a review" post, buy Y's "not a review" post will be stayed in the thread. Use the same methods for all

^ We do use the same methods for all. However, being human and all, we may miss a comment or two that should be deleted/ edited. If you see something that doesn't belong, please feel free to being it to the attention of either Neutron or me via PM and we will do the needful if required. This is really not personal.

I never said that its something personal, its just that in cd reviews 5% of the posts are the REAL reviews, and the rest are "killargh album" posts if you understand me.
I wouldnt pm you to delete messages in cd reviews. just open one thread and see how much real reviews inside and how much are the other replies in there, if you delete those than you will have a boring review only section.

hey bro, this section faces a problem of some users mistakening it for yet another promotional section. neon is simply trying to weed out clear and cut responses that are not a review. your comment was "Thats looks like a must CD, ill get that! " this is clearly not a review.
what you are talking about is what some users are doing which is also wrong but harder to moderate...
what they are doing is saying something along the lines of "great music, loved it" and the rest is promotion (usually coming from artists). this is a problem and we have been addressing the artists/labels about it.
most of all this section is for the users and if the artists wanted a better, cleaner conclusion from the reviews they wouldnt intefere with artifical comments.
easier said then done.

so what if some person says "killargh" after the review is made.....
maybe the album is killaaargh......
starting a review by just writing that is punishable but not stating ur views on the album after the review is clearly written in more words for people to read.....
btw it will generate more reviews if people who review the cds see some sort of response on their effort....
and i would have to say the moderation in that particular section is right about top notch.... |

^True, which is why it's tough to weed out comments like killaaargh even if that's the whole one-word review. Don;t let that be a cue for any new bright ideas to sprout though.

^ You may also include all of what you have queried in that list if they are genuine concerns. Just no promos, which also means "goodluck!", "im sure this will be great" etc etc. While good will is well appreciated by the artists/ label owners/ etc, they are not reviews and therefore I urge you to refrain from posting the same in the cd reviews and do so in the promo section instead, if you must. This helps those who visit the section with a purpose to go from review to review without having to wade through comments useless to them in between.

Why don't you read three posts up, Dennis. I thought it was fairly simple. You had some doubts, they were clarified. You can't really expect to cross check here about every single thing you have/ want to post in the section. Come on, really, no Einsteinness required. I know you can do it
