Look for Yamaha's model's. They are supposed to be the best quality/price ratio.

I bought one 2 month ago and they really rules...because of the big cache your CD burning never fails...

People say that Plextor models are also good, but don't ask me. I don't even have a burner...

Max I am sorry to say that

YAMAHA BURNERS SUCK BIG TIME

I have one too... skazi burner to notch... every half a year it dies and doesn't want to burn audio. Now its out of warranty.

I have some friends that had similar problems with Yamaha burners. They promise u minimum 120000 hours of work and their hardware holds maybe 500.

Yamaha in this case is only a name.

get a Philips. as far as i know , a certain Mr. T (aka Tomer, aka ATom) can get u a good price.
hows the computer problems? any progress?
