Did anyone notice lately that cd covers has become more simple?
In the past years almost every cover was made in 3d with psychedelic colors, but now all are just boring 2d pictures. Nice, but still boring.

it depends on a cover. 2d cover sometimes can be much better than a 3d one. But i still like the previous ones |

Hey Tzahi, so start making 3D covers! Bring back the old style!
Psychedelic Vibes has always been 3D, but the latest one sucks...
So are the MFG CD's. The cover of The Message really disappointed me. |

well my next approach is the new psycraft album..
it won't be like infected, they want a psychedelic atmosphere but a chilled one.. like their music.
and if things turns out well i'll work on the new infected too.
it'll be again a great honor. :)
the idea we decided on is an infected theatre.
i'll model erez and duvdev in 3D as dolls and a big mushroom will control them. ;)
that's the idea of my good freind - infected max. :)

Tzahi,
Again I suggest Alice in Wondeland as the source of inspiration for the mushies cover. It's one of the most psychedelic books ever written, and you've got the huka smoking caterpillar sitting on the mushie- sit the guys on both his sides and there u go. Give that book a reading....

Hey Tzahi,
Why not do a follow on from the last two albums,
They've called all the people to them (the gathering) then they've infected them all (classical mushroom) now have them sending the people they've gathered then infected out into the world to spread the infection?
You could even incorporate it into the idea about the amphitheatre, have the one of the dolls pointing to a plan of how to do this (maybe have a little globe with a signpost for israel and then arrows flowing out from it or something (just to add a bit of cheese) or maybe put the sign that says israel on the mushroom pulling there strings and just have the earth with arrows coming from israel ((I'm sure ppl can figure it out where the arrows are coming from))) and then have the other pointing off as if to say: "get to it!!". Then have the amphitheatre surrounded by all the people from the cover of the gathering (reworked in 3d of course or completely new ppl it doesn't really matter) moving out or studying the plan intently but generally looking like they're about to do something big.

yes I saw some snapshots from that game - looks great!
but I don't play games. =)
I will tho install ti just to look around at the gfx once I get a hold of it. :)
anyhow, Damien. you gave me a great idea!
how about modeling in 3d taht mushi lady from the first cover, and taking the mushi alien I did in Classical Mushroom and do sort of an interaction between them? perhaps making psychedelic love? :)
smth like.. remember the scene from the movie The Lawnmowerman 1,
when the lawmower man kissed the girl before he turned himself into a spider.
so to make an interaction between them while they're surrounded with mushrooms..
maybe an enviroment similar to that:

How about you try this on for size?
A strange psychedelic twisted look at a backalley market... with all sorts of weird shit being sold...
Closests to you is a murshroom stand with alot of colorfull mushrooms... but one stands out, both in size, shape and color... the Infected Mushroom!!!
Like try to picture it :)))
Make the alley all psychedelic and freaky, throw in the mushy girl somwehere smoking grass or smt and that 3D mushroom dude dancing or smt.
Lol... i should direct movies... not give ideas for C.D covers! :D :) ;)
lol...
And about 2d-3d.... i think the message cover is cool... i always like those cardboard covers :) makes it special...
