I almost feel it's 'ballsy' to do a beatless ambient album nowadays, especially looking at the latest Ultimae releases. That's why I'm really excited to hear if CBL can bring us some Epicentre (First Movement) ish stuff

Yes! Got it today.
When I first heard that the album was gonna be pure ambient I was a bit skeptical, you can say that I was worried that the sound would be dull and boring. But this is a rather complex experience, with so many layers and textures.
I was afraid that the acid sound that they are known for simply wouldn't be there, but the good old CBL sound is intact.
It's a stunning album and a great achievement from the CBL guys.

less is def more..i love the moods on this..have been cycling the mp3's.. works well as whole album..am really drawn in to the tracks terpene and vla ..so emotional and rich depth of sound and so glad cbl have embarked on this sonic adventure..and excited that my package will arrive soon. |

love the new package! still haven't immersed myself in the album in one go but warming up to this ambient side of CBL... wouldn't have guessed it if it wasn't for those few signature sounds that they used on the world of sleepers album.
