Hi is there any way to capture VST's Arpeggio as a MIDI?

I am using cubase as daw and Sylenth's inbuilt arpeggio.
Many Thanks

Yep, as long as the VST implements the correct interface to output MIDI data (VST2.0+, if I recall correctly),
You should only need to get a channel to "listen" to the VST output (in Ableton it's possible, no idea about Cubase)

Since the official docs state nothing on this, a simple Google search with "Sylenth <your topic title>" gave me a very probable answer:

Sylenths arp dosnt output midi data unfortunatly.

So that's a no

But, on the bright side, making arpeggs are really fun, so you can try to recreate it yourself, of even make something completely different

Mind if I ask , if you mean the same thing that can be done in z3ta+2 just with one click? (min 3)

Or something different? Or may be exactly the other way round?

This will not work with Sylenth cause the Arps inside Z3ta based on midifiles, so you can drag an drop to clipboard. The Arps of Sylenth aren`t midifiles. In Cubase you have to go the Vari Audio way for extracting midi from Sylenth:

I see. Okey, but to make the difference clear enough:

Sylenth is able to transpose, to change velocity,to hold, to gate and has supposedly 10 melodic modes. Except for the fact that I do not see how you would be able to upload your own patterns (modes) from a midi to sylenth, what is the difference to, lets say, z3ta. Transposing the numbers gives the same effect as changing the midi one by one , doesn't it? Why should you want to capture it as a midi exactly? To play the arp faster with a finger?

And how would you make you own patterns with sylenth? Just in case you can't hear those any more:

How about this one, does anyone use it:

It really looks like something very different:)

This is exactly what i ment but unfortunately its not possible with sylenth. I might try z3ta never used this synt but its looking great from this video. Thanks

I have tried your method.exported arpegio to audio and then in variaudio extracted to midi and that woked not very accurate but if you slow down arpegio then its not that bad you get pretty close. Many Thanks
