hi guys, I am brazilian and planning to stay for 2 months at SA, cape town.
I want to know more about the scene there, and if there are frequently good parties, with good artists, open air and at clubs too.
Also want to know more about the crime and violence, because at my travel i don´t want to have problems. If anyone has alredy been to brazil please compare the crimes.
Btw, SA projects are really good shit, Shift and Broken toy are some of my favorites. |

Cape Town city bowl is fine, no worries mate. It's safe to walk around, just be street wise. There are some dangerous areas, but its unlikely you will come across them.
There are lots of backpackers here: Ashanti is good close to Long Street which has many entertainment & hanging out options.
If you want to travel in South Africa, head up to the Wild Coast,in the Eastern Cape. It's beautiful and rural and undeveloped, the African people live a peaceful traditional life. You will have a good time.

hey people...i have been in cape last summer..i can tell u 4 sure that it was the best time of my life...i was living in bantry bay...hanging in the second b...and ofcurse the festivals...this place is magical!!! well man u will have the best time and if u want details on parties and shit u should go to call a pizza..very nice people over there...im now in south beach miami..and realy...nothing to camper...
CAPE TOWN IM IN LOVE ! ! !
next year im there...c ya all

thanks katam, happy to see good things are happening down there. my wife, our little daughter and myself are relocationg to cape town early january next year. looking forward to start our new life knowing there's a vibrant psy scene, those festivals look tasty. again thanks for thr links mate

my home town!!!! cape town has the best vibe in the world!!! oh well now im stuck in the the black country having to go to indoor parties. looking foward to the europe outdoors.fucking hey!! |
