Michael Andresen is the man behind the 12moons and Healer projects with the
12Moons project representing the trance side of this gifted swedish artist. Candyflip Records proudly presents the long-awaited debut 12Moons album gSolid State h consists of 10 new and previously unreleased tracks. Over the years, Michael has developed a very respectful discography with his 12Moons project with 9 EP releases and track releases on 19 compilations, on well-known labels such as Flying Rhino, Dragonfly, Transient, Spiral Trax, Digital Structures, Phonocol.
Artist biographical information:
Michael Andresen is the tonal retainer of the 12moons and Healer projects. Coming from the hypernorth of Scandinavia, this talented libra resides in the beautyful city of Gothenburg, Sweden.
Michael fs early influences origins from the soundscapes of artists like Kraftwerk, Yello, Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre as well as the more progressive synthetic music from artists such as Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, Nine Inch Nails and Frontline Assembly among others. Later impressions came from a wide spectrum of artists and to name but a few - Vir Unis, Patrick O Lhearn, Steve Roach, Peter Gabriel, David Arnold, Anthony Rother and the Delta. Michael started his voyage into synthetic music very early in his life, and since then he has been into the constant quest of sculpting sounds and composing music.
Thr Iugh numerous cameos Michael has released his music in very different fields such as trance, ambient and house on well-known record labels like Dragonfly, Flying Rhino, Transient, Digital Structures, Spiral Trax and Room4 to among others. 12Moons is Michael fs main project and it is characterised by percussive synths and funky beats tied up with smooth harmonic ambient pads to make your body and mind move in a positive direction.

I thought this one needed a bump. Recenty I've been in the mood for 12 Moons / Healer music, which I consider to be some of the finest this scene has produced. It's too bad nothing else was released by this amazing artist after the album...
