About U-RECKEN
yaniv ben-ari a.k.a. u-recken born in 1978 in haifa israel,and he is living till today on the beutyfull carmel mountains...made his firsts steps too the world of music in his early teenage life,strating as a guitar player and very soon a founder&leader guitar vocalist of two sucsesfull metal bands... like everybody else,he made his turn too the world of psychadelic music, by the haloocinogenic effect of you know what... nower days u-recken is working on a second albom,along with a second

Born in 1964 at Corfu-Greece and my real name is Stathis. I was grown up in Athens and i was like music from the year i am remember myself. First involving with music was very early around '74-75 starting making a quite nice collection of psychedelic-acid-space and progressive rock bands of late '60 and '70. Then i had involve a little with local garage bands singing and playing harp and also was playing as dj at small local rock clubs in Athens. As i finish high school at 1981 i was studying sound engineering and i had start involving with post punk and new wave local bands making their sound for their live performances, until 1985, when i drop everything away for my own personal reasons until 1988, and then, i had start playing again as dj with new sounds ( for those years off course) like Dead Can Dance, Tuxedo Moon, Jah Wobble, Cabaret Voltaire, Yello, this kind of stuff. After a trip to Goa at 1991 i was found this "techno sounds" really interesting as i had discover the connection between dance and mind altering psychedelic music witch i was always loved, and since then i was really involve inside psytrance. Playing as dj to a lot of underground parties (always believing that this kind of sound must keep pure and shared to people and also, away or the usual music market system). I had also made my own parties inviting some famous bands and dj's at Corfu where i am living after '95, off course under the same influence and spirit that i had explain above. Since last July (2006) i had start slowly trying to compose my own sounds and sample of them are the tracks that you can hear to my home page. Hope you enjoy BOOM SHANKAR & peace + light to everyone!
