hello,
i will be in canada from august 27th until end of september, 3 weeks in montreal and 1 week travelling around (don't know yet where). are there any festivals (any electronic music) in that period of time? or else can you suggest parties/ locations? is there a website with events in canada?

well, perfect timing
we are holding a festival called samadhi on september 1st through the 4th with a very interesting lineup including names such as prosect, jaia, itaytaiko, androcell, kukan-dub-lagan, shen, and more to be confirmed within a couple of days
will update you soon
it will be happening in the mountains near montreal
you can check out http://www.psyfreaks.ca which is the local eastern canadian board for happenings
do not hesitate to ask more questions related to things to do and see around here.

thanks for your reply...sounds great, an experience in the mountains!
would need some directions how to get there...is public transport possible? how much will it cost (just i've no idea how much open airs cost in canada generally).
what kind of day is 04.09., is it a bank holiday, s.th. like this?

the fourth is labour day here, the north american equivalent of may 1st
cost will vary between 30 and 60 $cdn depending on when you purchase your ticket (paypal will be an option)
there is a public intercity bus that stops in the village near the festival as far as i know
we have not yet thought of organizing some sort of shuttle from there to the site
as for the directions, no worries
all relevant info will be on www.ganesha.ca within 3 weeks for sure (probably earlier)
