Hey guys, since 2009 I'm trying to find a chillout song that I heard in a bar at a beach. I only remember the refrain, it was a bit energetic with a high voice of a female singer and the tones could be g#, b and d#, very similar to „Vision One“ by Röyksopp when this "ho-oooh" comes in the end. She was accompanied by some string instruments (electronical) that played a bit staccato. The speed was rather slow.

Maybe you know that song? That would be great!

Greetings from Berlin

Thanks for your effort! The song I'm searching is still not there, but the second video (Younger Brother - Crumblenaut, awesome song!) comes pretty close to that song. It should sound more like a pop song and have more melody, the instruments could have played d#,g# --> d#,g.

I need more info. . .

Was it psychedelic ?, Dubby ?, words, no words ?

Maybe this ? though it's not a female singer.

or this ?

No, it wasn't psychedelic, but had an impact on the listener because it was really intensive and powerful at the refrain. It sounded rather like a pop song and there were words, the language was english.
As I already said, the second song is very similar to the searched one, especially after 4:30 but a bit slower and with more melody.

OK, I'm going to sum up the most important things again:

-very similar to "Younger Brother - Crumblenaut" from 4:30 and to "Röyksopp - Vision One"
-female singer
-powerful, intense refrain
-possible tones of the singer: g#, b and d#, instruments: d#,g# --> d#,g
-not psychedelic, rather between pop and lounge style

Well, I don't think it's this one, but any chance that this is the singer ?

it's hard to tell because the voice of the singer was much more powerful than in your video.

but listen to "Hooverphonic - Mad about you" - this voice is very similar.
