Winamp can play 24bit files with the right soundcard.
"Does anybody know if their is a winamp vst?"

Winamp vst or any way to make my winamp output's sound go thru my DAW sequencer so I can aply my vst effects on it....

Or just use Live...
I was just thinking about how some artists do their live act: the play their songs on a cd and play live the leads or fx... Talamasca has been doing it for years.
But since cd's don't play at 24bits you would probably have more quality in using winamp. And you can even put fx on the tracks..
I just wanted to know if their is a alternative other than doing everything with ableton live

Winamp plays anything I throw at it up to 24/96 (max of my soundcard) including AIFF. It must be a setting...
