can we have a mono sound in a stereo channel?

hi guys :)
can we have a mono sound in a stereo channel ? i ask this because i have notice many audios in stereo channels are in mono in my phase analyzer(and sounds in mono) ... so if i want a mono sound which it is in a stereo channel i dont need to make changes because its all ok right??

yep thats no problem,just a waste of cpu by using stereo plugins insteed of mono (might take around 2 times more cpu, processing 2 chanels insteed of one ) |
