hi i own Stanton DJPro3000 and i do like them, but i dont recommend them.
1) they break very easily. I have gone thru a replacement and now im using superglue to keep them together
2) they arent protected enough for a big sound system, the loudness can drown out the headphone volume |

I have the MRD-V700 and like them alot. Very nice sound isolation, pretty comfortable, good sound quality, and very reliable and sturdy.

Demezriel:
The DjPro3000 is a copy of the MRDV700 style. And i think they copy the good stuffs and put some more powerfull specs.
Sundrop:

Yeah! I think in go 2 this way:
Stanton DjPro3000 4 new equipment (i hate classic stuffs, i love Psytrance so, i love new products) but, if i dont know our just cant buy a headphone only see the specs. I need put this headphones in my head and hear the real sound but in my little town i cant do this cause here we dont have any of this headphones. So if i dont know about the new (Stanton DjPro3000) i go 2 classic (Technics RP-DH1200)! |

If you can, really try them out for yourself. Case in point, lots of people recommended to me the SOny MDVR-700's but when I put them on, I hated they way they felt. They didn't cup the ear properly, and my ears would get physical fatigue from the drivers pressing against my ears. And while the overall pieces are more rugged, the connecting joints don't seem to handle that well.
I've used Sony studio monitor series for years, and have been completely satisfied with them. MDR-7506. Everyone that I know who's had the Technic's has loved them. No opinion of Stanton...

the first time my Stanton broke it was just because I was putting it on my head
then i traded it for a new pair, these broke because i put them in my bag too tight, but the broke in the same place. the extenders to make the headphones bigger/smaller are not tough.
now i superglue them to the smallest size which fits my head perfect anyways so i dont need the extension.
if they had a more isolation and stronger they would be the best headphone! they have the best looks to me (i love blue) |
