Can't make the sound Run like Rushing

HI there
some sounds has exatly the same BPM but one seems that is rushing, is running faster, like in fullon sound...
To make this effect i read that you need to take the drum some ticks the left in your pattern, but it take totally out the bass...
And others says that you just have to "dirty" your sounds with distorted perc. but still don't get in there...

yes , percussion can and does make a track sound faster .. and if u eq , the drums wont drown the bass completely ..if thats what ur saying ..coz i have no idea what the hell u just said .
