Can´t automate Discovery in logic

Im not able to automate FM amount in logic 5.5, i tried different modes and it`s not automating, i record cutt off automation and it does it with no problem, but FM amount, i write or record (with the mouse) the automation and nothing happens. |

I never had experience with this vsti.
Try recording it via midi cc - it can be a nice solution.
 Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

do u want TBA automation? or RBA?
if TBA use "touch" mode - play the sequence and move the fm knob of your vsti plugin.
or use the hyperedit mode (RBA) and define the fm controller to the midi cc# controller. u should be able to draw/record midi data into the sequence.
i would strongly suggest to ask for help at the sonikmatter.com forum. that is the place for logic users.

RBA? What is that all i know is track based and object based nto familiar to that, it would nice if u couold tell me how. Trip...midi cc is a goos option but fader mapping is a real pain,i know a way to do it but still too much steps.
