for whoever use ableton live 7..please read on..
i dont have an arm button on the arrangmenet view but i have it on the session view how do i get it back?

ah ok, a record arm...just dig into the right side in ableton...maybe you just missed to open another view...check it out , it has to be there..

ahh forget about it i found it! sorry zork
i completely forgot the toggle buttons on the bottom right are independent of the views...

i know its sick i have the demo but the features for me are not really worth 160 dollars extra over my license for 7.
ill wait for live 9 or if they make an offer like include sampler with it for free ill consider buyin it
