can i group bass dsidechain as kik bass group chsnnnel?

Hi
I wold like to send my kik channel to my bass side chain channel that it can function as a grop channel for the kik-bas.
will this effect the kik?
or should i send my side chain bass channel to a kik-bass group channel?

if u use tc bundle or sidekick as your sidechain compressor/ducker u can do this simply
1. insert the sidechainer (trigger) or lemon plug on the kick channel.
2. open a SC Bass group channel and insert the tc compressor or the lemon sidekick.
3. route the bass (or anything else youd like) to the SC Bass group and tweak the values until you are satisfied.

tc bundle,sidekick and db audioware are the easiest ways to sidechain by far. |

I use a "signal channel" as a trigger for the bass,it a copy of the kik file(ofcourse you dont hear it), in stereo and pan it to the hard left, the bass to hard right.
i use the waves C1-COMP- SC in Cubase SX3.
My kik chanel is mono in the centre than i route it to the SC bass channel and use it asgroup Channel,
should i route the kik hard left? |

add quadro group -> press F4 - > add child bus stereo and stereo LS on quadro group -> route bass to group stereo -> send kick to group LS -> use Kjaerhaus GUP1_SC 'cause it beats all of the above IMO
