Can i connect my electric organ to pc?

ok, i have this organ (ignore the other meaning Tartei Mashma :-) ), Yamaha psr-620. it's not a midi controller or something, just a regular music instrument (it sux but nevermind).
i was wondering whether i can connect it to my pc, though i don't have a "special" sound card, just a regular sb live. i checked and the organ has both midi output and aux/out.
well, i used to play the piano many years but that i can't connect to my pc :-) but playing this organ (:-)) would be much easier than messing with the keyboard buttons. it'll also be more easy to create wav samples for loops etc.
do i need special drivers or something?
help me plz.

If it hae midi out so get a midi cable (around 120 NIS) and connect it to the joystick in at your sound card. that should work. |

actually you have yourself a midi controller now :)
i don't know if it's velocity-sensitive, and if it has pitch /mod wheel, but it has the keyboard :)
enjoy ... btw i think the cable u need costs much less than 120 NIS, i think it's less than 50
[it's only a cable]

thanks guys.
my organ output has a midi-cable connection but my sb has input of a different type (like headphones).
bilbo: it has this pitch wheel but it doesn't pitch a lot.
where can i buy this cable?

you can buy this cable at computer store or at music store. just ask for a midi cable.

your sb should also have a joystick input, if you(would) have the right cable, that should do. |
