I think it depends on the person. But as far as songs written with different motifs, yes there is chillout music for any time of the day, and for any season of the year.

This is why I don't like the term "chill out" people seem to add their own cliche'd rules to what you have to do to it.
for me chill out is the perfect music to dance to all night, because the intelligent rythms speak to me on so many levels. |

jhaha yeah but how do u know, maybe i wake up in the morning running to my office and listening the Guitar of Skazi because my mood now is not shiny,)))
also ambient or chill music - whatever u like))
people really can listen this music in different times of a day and it fully depend on their moooooodddd))
