I'm looking to buy myself a pair of Behringer B2031P. I'm on a tight budget so this is pretty much all I can afford. Does anyone use these? What is the low-end response like? How flat are they really? For trance, are these really what I'm looking for? This is what the dealers have to say about it:
8 inch, 150w, 2 - way passive reference studio monitors (pair) Following in the footsteps of the highly acclaimed TRUTH B2031 active monitors, the passive B2031P 2-way studio reference monitor is for those who already have a high-quality amplifier. The B2031P delivers very neutral sound, has an extremely flat frequency response (55 Hz - 21 kHz) and can handle up to 150 Watts of power. Tight, deep bass is provided by a long-throw 8 ¾” woofer with a special polypropylene diaphragm, while a ferrofluid-cooled HF driver guarantees clear and detailed “highs.” The unique BEHRINGER wave guide and the extremely low-distortion crossover network produce an absolutely linear phase response with excellent sound dispersion and stereo imaging. The state-of-the-art circuitry used in the B2031P is mounted in a low-vibration, magnetically shielded MDF cabinet. The B2031Ps are delivered as matched pairs.

Are you interested in the active or passive Behringers ?
The link you have provided is for the B2031A while your're asking about are the B2031P :
http://www.24audio.co.za/index.php?page=shop.flypage&product_id=449&category_id=e11e6590e521e6c52b32d7b920057896&option=com_phpshop
Anyway I have the active ones...pretty good speakers for the price...make sure you have a space large enough for 8 inch woofers or else you will get "too much" lower end frequencies which are actually not there...
They can be very loud which means you can really pump up the volume and feel the vibrations which for me is a good thing.
Also by default these speakers can be a bit too bright on the high end...so I cut down the crossover one notch down (on the back of the speakers) and that sorted everything out.
Bottom line....excellent value for money
