hey all!
we came back from the VOOV and the think that i have to say is: at the time that most of us look for full on trippy partying the spirit zone (and its the oldest trance lable) and ANTARO himself do it (partying) very easy and slowly, very nice and friendly, cheap and BEST.
we came day before the festival open and finded arround 3500-4000 ppl in the area, but nothing ready to party. i promise to SPIRIT ZONE for 100% but in this second i thought - wow i came from ISRAEL without line up and now i see just tons of ppl and its all. we get to sleep and 6 hours after we saw psy city with mane flewmarkets and others.i was in solipse and boom and i can say that its look same, maybe boom 2000 was a litlle nicer, i mean tent area amd markets.
we gone to look for dance floor and founded chill out area with nice colors and good position. after it we saw the second dance floor (not the main) and it was great - trees,big trees and shops litlle chill area and big stage, the main floor was not reade yet.
the first night the party was in "little" floor - arround 5000 ppl danced, which music u ask? some tech/club/progressive. no psy trance in the first night but i have no problem with good tech club music. and it was grear night, amazing dancing and so many nice girls.
the second night they open the main floor - wow god, what it was? the best exelent sound that u may think. sound sistem from 3 millenium!!! the djs? i dont knew who is it (coze spirit zone festival its not about big names) but i know the AXEL face and he play in the morning top feeling trance music. in the night i thik it was MAGIC SUN i think so becoze the slow progressive style was sounded like them. but realy they right, i didnt know the names and i didnt ask there coze i i didnt want, it was realy no matter, we and all the ppl just enjoyed ourselfs and the arround. it was best party in my life! i need to send pictures coze i have no words to describe and explain this party. fantastic!!!
the 3 night was party only in second dance floor (maind floor was open for 17 hours) and it started with great tech set(i dont know the dj) and after it was big surprise, oh yeas, simon possford - mushlam. he did it on the best side like usial. for close the festival they bring somebody who played 7 hours hardcore techno and it was perfectly to move our bodes in tech beat.
no problems with water like in portugal, noproblems with soundsistem, no bullshit - thank u ANTARO.
after it i drived two days to see germany, 3 days in belgium and i finished the trip with 8 days in AMSTERDAM (best big city in my opinion).
VOOV was like open the eyes for child coze i see the way for celebrate without too much balagan that reguilar in trance festivals and partyes, less karahana and balagan and more smiling(not trippy smiling) and more nice ppl.and only one night of psytrance in VOOV - if i wasnt there i was said "ih, its nothing" but i say "ITS ANOUGH" coze alot good taste music we have.
