While it is true that many labels don't pay their artists that does not make it right.
An opportunity to release a track on an unknown label... big deal... common!
They have not even released anything yet, yes they might have some sound on myspace, but that does not tell me for sure what is going to be released.
On that note I would like to add that as psy artists do it for the love of sound and not for money, so the labels nowadays need to consider that not much money is made from a label (if any at all). Add your label onto your events and there might be a winning factor. If you really want to make a label, be prepared to invest and see little return.
And give the artist something too. It is only fair.

To give sth back to the artist should be common atleast for serious labels,whitelabels however.If you make profit out of others and you could/should give them sth back also.,from my expirience (other music genre) your label is not worth mentioning and will go donw sooner than later.It can only work it the chemistry is allover a shanti one.Till now I havent had an own label but lots of ppl around me this life but I know also to release sth also worldwide and get nothing back forit while othere have it.This completely sucks.Too much greediness |

Honestly I think it's kind of rude to come into this thread and tell them what they can't do and why it's wrong and bla bla bla bla bla..
so don't send them your music if you want to be paid. jesus. stop ramming your ideals down their throat.

people in here don't like the deal and sounds to us or atleast me like an insult of intelligence and work ethnics, nothing is free in this fuckn world... i personally have wasted thousands of dollars and not including billions of hours of my time, to give my hard work for free

I understand the point you are trying to make but this just isn't the thread to do it in. Some order has to be kept.. you are giving the label a bad image and a bad name and they haven't even done anything. So they can't afford to pay their artists yet? They seem pretty upfront and honest about it.. again.. if you can't handle that then don't bother with them and let people who are excited about an opportunity be excited about it.

ps. i got enough experience already maken deals to know this is a frickn shady-ass scam i fell for this shit when i had no experience and had no one tell me no dont do it, i wish i had now that i look back but whatever some people dont like to take advice, they rather smash their own heads to learn, in that case , let em they will learn sooner or later. but atleast they where warned from people who have already been there. We did our part as good sumarians to help others in this forum my conscienous is clean and if i helped 1 person avoid the headache then i did my job
and feal better cus someone didnt have to go thrue what i did long ago, it really fucks with your head could i be a bit precautious? could be... have i built a wall to avoid that issue? could be but experience is experience and im not gonna risk faliin into that shit again peace guys. |

we guys who do the tracks are also investing lots of $ in gear and dont get much back for that, at least not for psytrance. so, why the hell should a psytrance label get maybe even profit from those tracks where lots of money went in if they dont even give something to the artists? and then its the poor label if they dont make their costs back. man, if all artists would act like that...

u are a unknown person, never relesead any track, but u are really expectin other people to listen to it, but u can show it only for ur friends and people like that...
how am i supposed to show the world my work ? i m really not expectin to receive money from my tracks from the begginin not beucase i dont want to , but because nobody will pay me if i m not a PSYTRANCE POP STAR...
its hard to get money even from the DESK JOB nowadays , what to expect from an underground MUSIC SCENE ?
MAYBE and just MAYBE the guy form the label s really a fuckin "thief" wantin to take tracks from the artirsts to make money for his own... BUT at least he would help to get the music listening, at least that...
so thats why im opened to bussines  i like my music and i wanna spread it and if someone likes my music too and wanna release it feel free.

the guy will charge for the CD... and with only unknowns artirsts its gonna be hardly bought.
usually people who are open to new artists , the more underground site of the scene, they wont spend any cent to listen to it..
so i bet everybody s takin risks in here... the artists who are givin the tracks and the owner from the label who s gonna try to sell cds with unknown artirts...
