ahoy there!

ive have just recently purchased a waldorf xt and i thought id approach you guys for some pointers how to extend this beautiful instrument's capabilities, Id like to know how to access deep lush pads and atmospheres, after really organic sounds? Also, i have a basic concept of how the wavetables work, but how do they relate to the startwave? is there access to wavetables on the net, or can you make your own (i believe soundiver might do the trick)? Thankyou if someone could give me some advice here.

cheers.

Nord Lead? Wow, it's a joke when you have a Waldorf Microwave I/II/XT/XTk or Wave (ultra expensive wavetable synth) on your studio...

Paul Nagle said: " I really should mention the filters which are: Waveshaper (a 12dB low-pass filter combined with a wave-shaping filter, the wave selected from the current wavetable), a Parallel Low Pass/Band Pass filter, an FM filter (whose frequency can be modulated by the output of Oscillator 2) and the Sample and Hold filter (which lowers the sampling rate of the signal before routing it through a low-pass 12dB filter)."
