California in January - Help me

Hey guys!
im gonna be in california in january, from 6th to the 27th.. Mostly in San Diego, Los Angeles, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco..
I want to know 3 things, if you guys can help me please..
1- Are there any good trance/chill shops in those places?
2- Do you guys know some good chill party in those places? (I saw that bluetech played in california in the beginning of this month.. I was looking for similar things in january)
3- Any good progressive house clubs ?

I'm sure that you will be able to find several prog house clubs in both SF and LA... I can't vouch for the quality of them as I don't listen to that type of music. You'll find that there aren't too many trance/chill stores in the US, but Ceiba in SF and if I remember correctly, Green Sector in LA would be the places to check out.
As for chill events, that I am not sure of... Sorry.

im sure there will be a chill event during that month in SF, but nothing is planned of as yet
also a staore of note in SF is Ambient Airlines, its a chill out store, but it keeps odd hours so best to contact them and find out first
unfortunatley i dont have that contact info

There is a downtempo montly in SF called SubMerge, its located at Azul (1 Tillman Way). The party is thrown specificy for the chill community, so definetly check it out if your into the music. If your into chill, it's definitely a party you want to check out!

down in san diego there are usually a couple of very cool downtempo oriented monthly's.
www.brokenbeat.com some friends of mine that love glitch, mashup, idm, d&b, and anything just really fucked up. i've known them for about 6 years. their nights are very fun.
also going off on the house/downtempo/whatever goes tip are 2 clubs near downtown, about 5 minutes from my house:
-kava lounge on kettner blvd - every week is a different promoter/flavor. dragon lounge on the first fridays hosts breaks/d&b/and chillout. i'm not sure exactly who runs the other weekends, but the fliers i see usually lean towards the loungier/beatless kind of ambient.
-kadan, on the corner of 30th and adams. usually odd-ball music, all the time. its a dive bar. thursday nights have some awesome mash-up djs, there's an electro night, a techno night, glitch-house nights. you name it. and its chill with superfly chick bartenders.
We are all family. We put the fun in disfunctional.
