Has anybody tried some of those websites that can stamp/print your artwork on tshirts, mouse pads, mugs, etc and even sell them and ship them for you? If so, what is your experience with all this and do you recommend it? is it worth it?
Also, in regards to creating tshirts, places like cafepress only seem to allow you to stamp a design right on the center or back of the tshirt, but you can't print your design on the edge or the shoulder area. However I see lots of t-shirts that do have printed artwork all over, not just in the center. So does anybody know who does this or how to proceed to create t-shirts like these?
Here is an example of what I mean:

Hey =)
I've tried cafepress, only for posters and t-shirts, they do a great job! print quality is very nice...
Its worth it if you can't print yourself and ship the stuff...
If you want to do t-shirts like the one you are showing, its a different process, on the printing technique it looks like screen-printing, rather than cafepress's transfer technique.
Screen-printing is recommended mostly when you use few colors and shapes are contrasted and clear at the edges of each color layer.
Also, it lasts a lot more time without fading than transfer...
I don't know sites that does custom screen-printing on textiles, I would suggest you to do it yourself... its really worth it...
If your images has big loads of colors mixed I would suggest you to go transfer technique... its more easier when it comes to material and process.
The only thing i complain of cafepress's t-shirts is that, as you said, you can only print on the chest and back area...
wishing you the best!

Farbo, thanks so much for the information. I had been trying to figure out how they print those tshirts for a while and I couldn't find it on the web, it explains a lot.
And webgrrl, I love a lot of your designs in Zazzle and for sure you have many really cool totally psychedelic designs there, I was thinking of ordering some of those in the future.
And you know I just opened my store on Zazzle, though I have very few designs,. But you know what is great? the other day I noticed I had one fan and wow it happened to be webgrrl.. I guess its a small world after all! My site is:
