This is a transmission from Soononmoon. Probably you don´t know us. But we
do know some of you. Since 1997, life is better for us. We were on the beach
when we saw the storm coming. And we were smiling. An old, warm, remote,
familiar, subliminal and almost invisible wind was blowing. It was Trancoso,
Bahia, Brazil. And that was the vibe. That kept shining in our cortex,
reflecting our DNAs, pumping through our souls. The glimpse was then created
and we´ve started Soononmoon. Now, on 2001, we are on the eye of the
hurricane. And still smiling. From here, in Bahia, we´ve been floating in
space with some of the dopest shamen of the techno-primitivist art known as
trance. And we´ve seen some of the most neanderthal gatherings of
psychonauts, alchimists and beautiful people on earth: us all, the family
trance. And in trance we trust. That was the greatest inspiration for us.

CURARE - tribe in trance
CURARE is a healing session to the third stone of the sun. A living
flashback of the time when we were dancing clapping loving and banging
drums, together, celebrating the life and cleaning our spirits around a
fire, under the silver moonlight. That was the vibe. And that was before TV,
money and junk food. CURARE is a powerful poison used by the native amazonic
indian. And it´s also a word that means "healing" in latin. We think you
already got it. Soononmoon is inviting you to join us on this temporal
automous zone known as CURARE.
Free your mind and your bass will follow
CURARE will be a three-day party on Chapada Diamantina. To be more specific,
on Lençóis, an old colonial city that was born around the diamond economic
cycle. This is Brazil. This is Carnival 2002. And this is for free.
Literally. CURARE will be happening on a great outdoor area, on 10th, 11th
and 12th february. It´s Carnival, don´t forget, and everybody is welcome. As
a free party, we´re sure that we will not make money on CURARE. Neither will
you. All we could really offer is your name on the thousands of flyers
around the world and on the web site, a place to stay, sleep, love and keep
things safe, food, the most amazing of the vibes (due to the crystal nature
of the energy flowing through the floor), virgin air, water and mountains, a
mammoth sound system and a irresistible way of coming to Brazil. Bring your
best sounds, bring your art, bring your self. CURARE will be Carnival on a
