Yeah they fucked up big time,
Can we get a complaint list and send it to them.
Its just stupid what they did and i hope they change the whole thing, as i think myspace was a good site.
The soundcloud is good but its sometimes impossible to succeed with a upload, errors and stuff.
still Soundcloud and youtube get my vote.

Personaly I liked myspace the most.It was a cool side,and you could really make an own design and the vibe was somehow cool there ,the echo 
But it is dying..and those mofos dont realize that this was the big failure and mistake to change this into shit design like on soundcloud (For instance ) where each side looks the same.
I guess myspace will dye because they are too stupid to change it back as it was working before.

But that is not true that every site has the same design. You can make your own just like before. It is even easier now. You dont have to know any codes or stuff like that |

no no I dont mean myspace..but the others.. like soundcloud has always the same design or did I missed sth? ..but yes you are right I know you still can desing myspace but it's not really easier,or maybe easier but not better.
You can now use only html and not anymore css but with css a lot more was possible.

I spent many hours customizing my old profiles, it's all lost 
now is not even possible to add a custom mp3 player...
I liked the way it was before. all profiles layouts were different, and that was the magic. freedom. |

Myspace pfff. If you want my opinion - from a visitors point of view, as i never owned a myspace account - they took a leap towards their own death by allowing too much customization. Almost every profile page became a pain to browse to:
Unmatched colours
Headache causing repeating tribal art backgrounds Objects flowing all over the page
Custom badly written plugins cramping down even a powerfull system
Need i go on? It was like 1995 all over again when everbody was into designing his own html abomination of a page.
Frankly, i find the new - more minimal - look way better, i can at least browse through a whole profile page without feeling sick. I also find it faster and slicker cause of the lack of too many widgets. I can't really see what's all the fuss about in this thread. In the bottom line, if you want that much freedom to create a promo page (cause that's what is all about) do it your own way and don't depend on a social site.

I loved it too. Although its still alive for us as it still gets us gigs.
As long as people and especially promoters still use it, it will be alive, even if it sucks balls the way it is today.
