I recommend you go to a music store and see which synth fits you best. |

before you add any real hardware: "system requirement" for Reason is a midi controller and a keyboard.
if you haven't tried them yet .. you don't know what reason is yet :)
btw. controllers box+midi keyboard cost less than a synth... maybe u should try the combo - Midiman Oxygen 8 - it connects to USB.

depends. juno - analog, 6 voices, but old[sometimes has problems, and no support] costs not more than 400$ @ebay.com
korg ms2000 - not analog, 4 voices, but newer ..costs much more, has support from korg [if something goes wrong] size matters to you ? korg is shorter but wider, but it has a rack version.maybe it costs less. juno is longer but narrower.
comparison of sound ... is personal matter, but with both you can make good sounds. i think Juno is best for pads and basslines ... ms- many knobs ... i guess for lead & sqeaks.

Actually the prices of the Ms2000 droped. I bought mine 6 months ago for almost $1000, now you can find it for $650, and the rack for $499. |
