Personally, I wouldn't buy a thing without seeing first and checking if it works first.

On the other hand, I got a friend (he's a guitarist) who bought almost everything he has from ebay, and never got fucked.

Up to you to decide

i like it - i bought a lot @ ebay -
the only thing is to look at the personal rating from the seller, if it's positive (ideal 100%) you can trust him, i never had problems with ebay products

And the number of items he sold in the past is extremely important. If he appears out of nowhere selling 100 synths do not trust him!
I almost bought a nord lead from aguy like this, but I decided not to. After the auctions ended, noone got their synths. He ran away with their money.

I bought a lot of things and it was happy every time. alawys check the feedback. sent a messege to the seller to see if he's responsive. read the small letters. don't fall for crazy deals, ebay can be cheap, but not that cheap.           "a new art came into my mind which only you can create, the Art of Noises, the logical consequence of your marvelous innovations." i bought alot on ebay, i mean ALOT. got f3cted couple times but mostly happen in smal items that i am lazy to fight, no time. but I bought antique $4000.00 in ebay , my old monitors and amps, my waldorfIIxt, my genelec 1030A, my unitor8kII, both of my G4, alot, etc etc. One of my experience that I can share is, be carefull when you receive the item (if you have digital camera handy, take a picture of the box from each angle before you open, especially there is some dings, etc), so that when the item is Death Of Arrival, you can fight for shipping company. Usualy the this is the seller responsibility. I had a bad experience with FDX, but they are the closer to my place, times kept chasing... yes I usualy trust the seller when they have a hundred percen positive feedbacks and don't have too much activity of selling, I also like to see what they have been deal before just to get the feeling while you wait for their email reply such what they have been bought enstead of just selling. Other than that I am a happy bidder/buyer.           founder http://www.enkienterprise.com
