hello,
I intend to buy the novation remote sl zero, but I wonder if anyone has to propose something else at about the same budget, a lot of assignable knobs & buttons and without piano keys. And what about the automap function on the remote sl, it works ok? is it useful?
Any help and opinion will be much appreciated.

If you're looking for many knobs without the keyboard than the sl is your best bet. Its cool, its real easy to use. go for it.as far as I know it works fine. all my friends have one and they love it

I love mine! I think the SL zero is your best bet. You'll soon appreciate the Automap once you start saving your own default setups.

u cant go wrong with the zero... i love mine it does exactly what i want.
the screens are helpful
the knobs are smooth and large enouph
the faders are little clumsy and plastic but they do the job
the drum pads are great fun but kinda in the hard side with little weird velocity response(tweakable but still weird)

a great piece of gear.           http://www.landmark-recordings.com/
