ai caramba d00d why do you need a mixer for ? I know you need it for parties... but for djing, doing a live, or just a portable mixer for you to carry around with your laptop setup...and take to the beach?....

didn't someone just asked this ?
you probably meant a dj mixer right ?
if you got the money go for pioneer, even their most basic model has everything you need, but it's kinda expensive .
for parties don't take gemini, they're weak, and it feels like a toy .
also i've been told to stay away from numark .
not cheap one but not expensive one that i like the most and i heard only good things about is behringer, i just like their products.
i don't work for them
they don't have many dj mixers but what they have should be enough .
the dx series is discontinued i think, but dx 500 is nice if you can find it .
the new vmx series is killer, it's not expensive and has a lot of pro features .
look around the net see the features compare the prices, and pretty much double them from $ to NIS and you'll get the picture .

donno about the price but i htink that the Vestax rocks the balls!!!
as for functions? u must have filters that KILL the sound for the 3 ranges on some numarks there is a button for instant killing besides the knob that takes time it si quite nice of course u must have 2 channels at least i would go for 3-4 if u want to add a sampler or a lamptop for the set or to play on 3 cd's. u must have an easy replasable faders because those fuck up easily esspesially after nature parties if u have the money the optical faders are cool. the basic things most of mixers just have so just dow aht u want           Come on who neeeds that shit

For Parties & Pro use (probably where you make some money) Pioneer DJM-300S appx. US$400 ~ US$ 450 (well worth the money, esp. If you're gonna play parties)           "Never argue with an idiot, they'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience"
