Burning Man is less a festival than a week spent in an alternate reality. It opens a door into a kind of experience that inspires many thousands of words, but ultimately escapes words altogether. Its week-long ordeal of art, heat, performance, dust, fire, dehydration, instant community and temporary existence has changed a great many lives. Oh, and it's Big Fun. Studies permitting, I'll be there...
I actually wanted to be there this year, but I was stranded in San-Fran a month before with no money and a plane ticket back home, so that's what I did... But I just NEED to see one week of pure insanity at least once in my life... it's an advanced version of the circus scene from Fear&Loathing, and it lasts a whole week :) |

And we all of the people here can bring some music, 2 cdjs and a mixer, and open a small trance area there, so why worry? |
