Barely American IMO...you see yourself as the same, which is why you should just leave then...

You lost me a bit here. Who’s barely American – Californians and Oregonians? How exactly do you imagine I see myself? As a Californian or an Oregonian? (I am guessing it has something to do with my ten-thumbs-up opinion about Oregon ) And since I have to leave – where should I go?
My running joke is that I am more American than most Americans. Only a couple of people here would know the hidden humor in this claim.

Californians are the height of morons IMO...people so fucking spoiled by their parents and dumb they elected the Termintor to lead them…

I don’t know. I’ve spent a total of only 3 weeks in California. Met plenty of people in SF, a few in SD. SD people seemed like the same folk I see in my Midwestern village (minus fat plus a tan). SF people are a bit peculiar, but seemed OK overall. Kinda like Canadians but not quite. Slightly too “progressive” for my taste, but definitely not “the height of morons”, as you put it. And don’t piss on The Governator. His heart and brain are in the right place, IMO. He’s not crafty enough as a politician, though.

C’mon, how is it different from the East?!
Like New Yorkers or Bostonians live in a real world.
The whole “first world”, most of the former “second” and a good chunk of the “third” live in a simulation. It’s been this way for at least 30 years already. If not since signing of the Bretton Woods accord.
Anyway, I’ve never been to the Burning Man (or any other festival, for that matter). Perhaps I’d go some day – if only out of curiosity. If anything, at least I’ll see the desert. Or maybe not. Maybe I’ll just drive to Black River Falls, WI instead.
