Yo
I recently did a bulk dump from my nord lead 2 into cubase sx2. I then replaced one of the banks on my pcmcia card with another one to check it out. I now want to upload the first bank (wich I dumped earlier) back to the nordlead.
The problem is that it doesn`t work. I have tried all the settings I could think of, but still, no response from the nordlead when I play back the MIDI file in cubase. It worked with the other MIDI file with the bank i tested out, but not with the one I dumped myself earlier... The sysex messages are there, so it cant`t be anything wrong with the initial dump...or??
Hope some of you understood this. I really need help to solve it.

I did similar thing once, but with a Korg Prophecy, and lost all my sounds...since then i organise my sounds with the help of Sounddiver...a bit confusing at first, but when u get the hang of it, it's a great tool for organising (and programming) your synths...

Good Luck... |

Maybe u should set your sequencer at lower BPM, so it's got more time to read it all...dunno, could work |

hmmm... since nobody answers... I don't know the problem myself, but i have a friend who had the same problem with a nord lead3, i'll ask him and get back to you (but it could take a while, so i hope somebody else knows the problem and answers you before i do ) |
