@Ess765: nope, i unfortunately i didn't measure the results. But subjectively it makes a lot of difference. I used high density rockwool plates of about 150 Kg/M3, which might be a bit too dense for use on the walls. From what i gathered, 45 Kg/M3 is already pretty good. The higher density rockwool is better at reducing low freqs when used in basstraps, since it has more mass and thus takes more energy from moving air. However if it's too dense it will reflect the sound. You might find the info and test results you need here: http://www.bobgolds.com/AbsorptionCoefficients.htm

I saw the pic of the basstraps, and they definately more psychedelic than mine But from what read here: http://forum.studiotips.com/viewtopic.php?t=536 i'd say the rockwool superchunk basstraps are a better solution. It takes litte money, and an afternoon to build them.
