Wow... you took some serious effort there: it looks amazing and probably does wonders for your sound. Maybe i'll try something like that as well. Does it also control the low end (120 Hz and down) like it should ? |

If you use a certain rockwool or fiberglass materials, with a 60" face width for a basstrap, u might just reach 50Hz even. 
My room still suffers the 120Hz, but I can't tune basstraps, so I suppose the bigger absorption goes lower than 120.
The room is "naturaly" quieter now with everything installed. That's my feel.
 Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

i have been thinking about this for a long time, but as i still live in my mothers apartment, i dont want to make a big mess for her, and i know she would never let me, so i am waiting till i move out, and that will probably be soon...
when i do i will do acoustic treatment..

has anybody got more information about acoustics in general, is there a good (practical) treatment of it around the net? (i have a few books/whitepapers that treat it theoretically) |

They do the job very well - My room reverbation has dampened greatly. I'm actually enjoying recording the flute since I got the room done.
