To create music is a lot easier if you own midi-controllers. Especially to manipulate parameters in realtime...but ofcourse..i don't have to tell this..everybody on this forum knows...My problem with midi-controllers is that they are too expensive for me and if you buy something...it's not designed for you, they are standard.
So I started looking on the internet..I wanted to make my own controllers.
If you know how to solder and you are able to mount electronical circuits..well then I guess I have some good news for you! Check out this link and discover how you can build your own midi-controllers!!! www.ucapps.de
I use them to record parameters in realtime and to switch patterns in live mode (playlist)in Fl-studio.
With these circuits you can also create a synth and a sequencer..
I hope this will be usefull for some of you boys 'n girls

enjoy!

and that is something you can't do with a consumer midi controller ?
I would love to learn how to build those things, if I'll had time for that, but I prefer to just use what I have now.           "a new art came into my mind which only you can create, the Art of Noises, the logical consequence of your marvelous innovations." Russolo, 1913

dude... ;=) In the first place I enjoy to create.. I like to create music and I enjoy it even more if I can also create very usefull hardware... Have you ever seen a midi-controller with 64 faders, 64 pots(knobs)and 128 push buttons(wich you can use to switch 128 patterns)? And what would it cost? You can make up to 512 faders and/or pots + 512 push buttons and lots of leds. It doesn't matter what I use it for! With this u can use your imagination ...
I think I'm not the only one who was looking for this...
