where has it all dissapeared?
there is no point writing all the facts and ideas we have all written so many times here again...
so just do yourself a favour and play this track...
at "3:32","4:41" turn up the volium SHIT high and listen.

Well, trance today just has less emotion.
Let's see the artists that are considered the most deep today. Haldolium, Son Kite, Auricular...
Compare that to the list of the deepest acts 3 years ago. Hallucinogen, Deviant Electronics, ManMadeMan, etc....
3 year before that. Hallucinogen, Koxbox, Doof, MWNN, etc, etc, etc...
Is there any level of comparison to the amount of emotion (I'm not talking about production, performance, production, etc) between these eras of trance music?
Be honest.
Trance may have a much more proffesional production today. The music IS smarter. The music has much more party friendly touches as well.
But one thing that is missing today is the spirit and emotion that was there a few years ago. I like minimal stuff (much more groovy and intelligent than ANYTHING ever before), I like techtrance to a lesser extent (a whole lot of pure power)...
With all due respect, emotion is more important than being smart or powerful in the music.
Or is that just me? |

The trend is minimalistic, and to tell you the truth I adore it.
Actually, it ressembles techno very much, except for its lower bpm |

emotions is everything... and today the music lacks it big time... and it makes a hole inside us.. a hole that grows bigger :(
but there is faith.... after hearing green nuns of the revolution - green nunions (new mix) and some saiko pod there is faith!!
