has your ozone an AC power input? does the sound go off when you turn on an old neon light or the heating or an air-dryer or your old fridge? the light flickers and the sound is then off? this is because other power consumers can produce an AC disturbance in your power line when they go on or off.

well, then you have an m-audio product! and they are probably going to ignore your support request email

i hope i was able to at least tell you what the cause could be!

yes, this could be the case. please check the following for me, ok? i had the same problem with an m-audio audiophile usb.

- do you have an AC power input (this means Alternating Current) or is it DC? (it's written in the rear of your gear )

- does your room light flicker right in the very same moment when the sound goes off?

hi, ok AC9V, like on the audiophile usb. the light may flicker but maybe not (depends on the light and where it is internally connected etc)

if your soundcard 'crashes' during nuendo use, you don't have to restart the machine. restart the soundcard and then go to nuendo's device preferences and reset the gear driver and you can continue working.

you can try to use an AC line filter which is supposed to filter out AC distrubances (transients). but that's not guaranteed to work.
