I use Buffer Override by DestroyFX. I love the sounds it makes, but I'd like to be more precise with them.

How can you make microedits with this?
They all seem sloppy or overdone when I do them.

I'd like to have them sound more like BT's microedits over vocals. Any thoughts? and how do you use this program?

lemme tell how I do it:

I take a plugin called tapeit 2 and drop it somewhere in the chain, after buffer override or any buffer stutter whatever plug.

next I mark the loop and play it. now I either automate it realtime or draw automation. I record several takes with tapeit (without reverb and delays)

now I got quite a lot material to cut up and take the best parts.

there's also alot of potential right out of the audio material. use your sequencer sample editor (cubase or live is quite capable for my taste)

now put the stuff into your sampler, sort it and voila           soundcloud.com/epsylohm
